Born with a natural drive for business and service, En. Hamzavi began his academic path in Business Administration at MARA Community College in Kuantan. His ambition later took him across the globe to Northern Arizona University in the United States, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance.

Starting his career in banking, he served at RHB Bank and later became Premier Centre Manager at HSBC Malaysia.

But in 2005, he made a defining shift into the world of Takaful. Driven by a desire to serve communities more meaningfully, he joined leading institutions like RHB Unit Trust, MAA Takaful, and AIA Takaful. His performance quickly earned him the industry's highest honors, including MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table), Court of the Table (COT), and Top of the Table (TOT) awards—the gold standard of excellence in insurance and Takaful.

In 2014, he founded Caliph Group Agency in Johor Bahru with just 15 agents. Through discipline, mentorship, and a clear vision, the group expanded rapidly, growing to 220 agents within a year. Today, Caliph Group has more than 3,200 agents nationwide, with 8 operational branches and a growing influence across Malaysia. The agency became an official Agency Leader Corporation (ALC) under FWD Takaful and Sun Life Malaysia, generating over RM63.8 million in business and establishing a strong reputation for performance and professionalism.

En. Hamzavi's commitment to growth extends beyond business. He spearheaded the formation of Caliph Academy, the educational arm of the organization, aimed at producing highly trained and certified professionals in the Takaful industry. In 2024, this vision took a major leap with a strategic MoU signed between Caliph Academy and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM Space). This collaboration paves the way for more structured, accredited, and sustainable talent development within the industry.
